Integral Carbon Labelling – From My Emissions
Kafoodle is keen to optimise nutritional awareness and compliance capabilities with climate consciousness – supporting every client to further their Net-Zero goals.
In partnership with My Emissions, Kafoodle has been able to integrate a carbon labelling capability directly into its recipe management platform, giving users easy access to emissions data alongside nutritional, allergen and compliance information.
With everything in one place, carbon assessments and labelling become an integral part of recipe development and management, not just an afterthought.
The Kafoodle X My Emissions integration enables food service businesses to:
- Quantify the environmental impact of menu items alongside nutritional, allergen and compliance information.
- Make informed decisions about menu planning and dish development.
- Quickly achieve Net-Zero goals.
How It Works: A Simple 3 Step Process
- 1. Kafoodle clients simply tick the recipes in their account they want carbon assessed.
- 2. My Emissions immediately receives a notification to process recipes’ carbon data and assess the carbon footprint of each recipe using the latest statistical analysis of the 3000+ foods in the My Emissions database.
- 3. Carbon calculations then appear in clients’ Kafoodle accounts, offering CO2e measurements plus carbon ratings from A (Very Low) to E (Very High).

Delaware North’s ‘Lowest Carbon Menu Ever’ at 2024 UEFA Champions League Final
Delaware North, one of the world’s largest privately owned and operated hospitality and entertainment companies, used Kafoodle’s integrated carbon labelling capability via My Emissions to carbon assess and label every menu item at the UEFA 2024 Champions League Final at Wembley Stadium.

The initial granular results enabled chefs to create its lowest carbon menu ever, with dishes available at concessions and in hospitality areas all receiving My Emissions’ A-C ratings except one, which was rated E.
The project won UEFA’s inaugural Champion’s Innovate contest with My Emissions awarded a €45k prize to help scale their solution.
Delaware North Carbon Label Menus at Emirates Stadium
Delaware North, which operates at major London stadiums including Wembley, the Emirates and the London Stadium, was so impressed with the results at the 2024 UEFA Champions League final, it is now using My Emissions’ platform to carbon rate other Season Menus into 2025 and beyond.
Starting with measuring emissions from the menu at Emirates Stadium, it is highlighting low carbon food options on in-stadium screens during Arsenal FC’s 2023/24 season.
Carbon labelling has now been extended for the 2024/2025 season, and displayed on all concession menus. The My Emissions team can’t wait to see the results!
