In 2024, we partnered with Just Eat Takeaway.com and UEFA to carbon label the UEFA Champions League Final menus. The pilot’s impact was clear: just 3,000 fans swapping a beef burger for chicken would save enough energy to power Wembley Stadium for 90 minutes.
Building on the success of 2025, UEFA and Just Eat expanded the initiative
- Carbon labelled menus at all UEFA domestic finals, including the men’s and women’s Champions League Final, Europa League Final, and Europa Conference League Final.
- Expanded the initiative to all fixtures of the 2025 Women’s Euros competition in Switzerland.
In total, we carbon labelled menus at 12 stadiums for 35 matches, ensuring more than 750,000 fans saw the carbon ratings.
