Our Customers
Food carbon labelling helps you become a sustainability leader
-
Informed food choices
With carbon labels on your menu, you empower your customers to make informed food choices.
-
Promote low carbon options
Promote low carbon options by re-ordering menus (lowest emissions at the top) or introducing incentive schemes.
-
Reduce your emissions
Carbon labelling is also a great internal resource, helping you to understand and reduce your emissions from food.
Simple A-E carbon ratings with traffic light colours
We’ve created a simple A-E food carbon label and combined it with traffic light colours. This empowers customers to make informed food choices.
All calculations align with key reporting standards, including the GHG Protocol. The label has been designed using best practices from existing nutrition labels, e.g. Nutriscore.
Just Eat are one of the largest food companies that use our A-E carbon labels to help customers make more informed food choices.

The only recipe generator for carbon labelling
In partnership with Just Eat, we developed the first recipe generator that calculates emissions and carbon labels for recipes. All you need is your menu (ie the recipe names) and we’ll estimate the recipe and calculate emissions from that.
The technology was already used by UEFA to carbon label food trucks at the 2024 Champions League Final. See it for yourself via our free plan!

Testimonials

Our work with My Emissions helps Just Eat understand how customers and restaurant partners can make more informed choices when it comes to the food they order and offer.
Working with the My Emissions team has allowed us to take a data-driven look at our carbon hotspots and find effective ways in reducing them. We’ve made fantastic progress by reducing the carbon of our gournay-style cheese alternative by 65%. This is a huge first step for us.
My Emissions play a very important part in our sustainability strategy by providing a platform that fits into our Agile development process. We can include carbon footprint as a development discussion, evaluate how ingredients can be selected to reduce it, and ultimately support on-pack carbon labelling.
My Emissions gives us the insights we need to understand the carbon footprint of our best-selling products. The analysis allows us to make informed product decisions, reduce our emissions and supports us in moving forwards towards our SBTi decarbonisation goals.
